Description:
To be in Egypt and not see the pyramids is like being in China and not seeing the Great Wall…”
More than 90% of tourists, when going on vacation to Egypt, plan to see the PYRAMIDS. We will take you to the capital of Egypt, and on the second day of the trip, you will also visit the second largest city in Egypt – Alexandria.
Day 1: The excursion will start around 1:30-2:30 (Time depending on the location of the hotel). We will pick you up with a large, comfortable, air-conditioned coach and head to Cairo. Throughout the trip, a Polish-speaking guide will accompany and assist you.
The first stop will be the Cairo Museum, which will take about 1.5 hours to visit. Then we will take you for lunch, included in the price of the tour. Then you will head to Giza, where the main point of the trip will be a “meeting” with the pyramids and the Sphinx. The stay in what many call the cradle of civilization will last about 1.5 hours. At the end of the stay in Giza, for those interested in buying souvenirs, we have planned a 30-minute shopping session. At the end of a full day of wonderful, amazing emotions and experiences, we will go to the hotel, where dinner will also be served.
Day 2: Departure from Cairo to Alexandria will be around 5:00. At the hotel, you will receive lunch boxes with breakfast. We will arrive in Alexandria around 8-8:30. The tour will start with a CityTour of El-Montazah. Then we will go to see the Qeit-bey Citadel.
The Citadel is located in the eastern part of the port in Alexandria on the island of Faros. It occupies over 17,550 square meters in a strategic location, surrounded by the sea on three sides. It is a standalone building in the shape of a rectangle, 60 meters long and 50 meters wide. Its walls are 4.5 meters thick. Inside and outside, the citadel is surrounded by two mighty walls built of huge stones, providing additional protection.
Then we will visit the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The Library of Alexandria is the largest library in the ancient world. It was founded by Ptolemy I Soter in the 3rd century BC. It contains a very rich collection of papyrus scrolls, attracting millions of tourists from all over the world, including great scholars and philosophers.
In Alexandria, we will also have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, we return to Cairo, and around 5:00 PM, we set off on the return journey to Hurghada.
